My Story

I remember the tension of a leadership meeting, my heart pounding as I faced scrutiny for missing a late-night work event. My son was home waiting, and as a single mom, I was juggling more than most. Yet, opening up about my struggles felt like a risk – a risk of being labeled "unreliable" or "not fully committed." 

That was the day I decided I didn't want to put up with this anymore. I applied everything I had always given in my job to build my brand and launch a business.

Hey, I'm Monica, founder of Represented Consulting. As a woman of the global majority,  a mother, and a global citizen, I understand the unique challenges you have faced in navigating your career.

I've personally experienced the frustration of feeling undervalued, the sting of bias, and the isolation of not having a supportive community.

These experiences fueled my passion for empowering global majority professionals to break through barriers and create a life and career that truly reflects their worth. I've dedicated my life to community-building and inclusive transformation, earning a PhD in the field and partnering with organisations like Microsoft and the British Council to create more inclusive workplaces.

My signature consulting & coaching methodology combines the principles of transpersonal psychology with practical strategies for personal branding, thought leadership, and community-building.
